Bio

Darlene Gray has been with Landon & Rian Enterprises, Inc. for more than 21 years. She assists the company with business acquisition, overall planning, and implementing processes and practices across the organization. Primarily, she oversees the company’s Finances, Accounting and Payroll, Human Resources, IT, and Facilities. She is also actively involved in the firm’s daily operations which include staffing and recruitment needs. Darlene assists with the company’s operating budget as well, determining the company’s past expenses and future budget. Her additional duties within the company include: interviewing, screening, and application review, internal communication management, and management of operations for the 1411 Chili Building,  LLC. 

Darlene received her OSHA 10 Hour Construction Outreach Training Certification in 2000. She is a member of the American Contract Compliance Association, ACCA, Women in Construction, National Safety Council, and The Upstate Minority Economic Alliance, UMEA. 

Darlene has additional experience in higher education as a former College Admissions Advisor with Lemoyne College and St. John Fisher College. She has a B.A. in Communications and Journalism from St. John Fisher College. She did graduate coursework at Brockport State University. Darlene has a passion for working with diverse communities and her extensive experience doing so has cultivated her development of advanced interpersonal skills and decisiveness while remaining in support of each organization’s preferences and priorities.  

Her community service initiatives include service with the St. John Fisher Alumnae Association – Co-Chair; Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP) – Tutor/Mentor; Ralph Bunch Scholarship Committee; as well as the Girl Scouts of Western New York – Co-Leader. Darlene enjoys volunteering and has many years of experience working with youth and teens in faith-based organizations. 

Darlene provides a welcoming work environment and leadership that engenders positive energy, creativity, and teamwork among the Landon & Rian community. She delights in her role of serving staff and clients.
