Bio

Paula Wilkerson is our Senior Compliance Specialist. Ms. Wilkerson enjoys the team environment at Landon & Rian and is passionate about our mission to address the needs of the community, ensuring that MWBE, SDVOBs, and other underrepresented groups are engaged and informed about opportunities. She has a history in public service and has worked in Human Resources with a specific focus on EEO for over 20 years.

Early in her career, Ms. Wilkerson served as the Executive Director of a non-profit neighborhood revitalization organization, which introduced her to community organizing, grant writing, and creating safe, affordable housing for low-income families.

She has served as the City of Albany’s EEO and Fair Housing Coordinator, Albany County’s DBE Liaison Officer, and later, the Director of Affirmative Action. Most recently, Ms. Wilkerson served as the Director of the Academic Internship and Student Employment Office for the New York State Comptroller’s Office.

Her outside interests include spending time with family, researching all aspects of African American history, and tracing her family’s genealogical roots. She and her husband Clay, are the proud parents of 9-year-old daughter, Alexa and 15-year-old step-daughter, Claysiah.
